Our modern and vibrant Pre-Prep is a happy environment where children can feel inspired to learn and explore.
OUR Classrooms
Our classrooms are large and welcoming, equipped with interactive whiteboards and easy access to excellent teaching resources. They feature spacious learning areas and cozy reading corners.
In our Early Years Hub, classrooms are connected by adjoining doors that open during ‘free flow’ play sessions. Each classroom also has direct access to a bathroom. Your child can explore the role play area, equipped with home and kitchen items and resources related to our termly topics. Small tables and mats set the scene for small world play, allowing your child’s imagination to run wild. We have created ‘The Den,’ a dedicated library and inviting reading space filled with natural light, perfect for sharing books and chatting.
We are fortunate to have a stunning library stocked with carefully selected books and the comfy bean bags are perfect for settling down to listen to a story. Beyond our classrooms and open learning areas, we have a boardroom used for small breakout groups and computing sessions, equipped with laptops and a bank of iPads for the children to use.
The Pre-Prep Hall serves as a dining hall and a large space for all the children to come together for assemblies and performances.
OUR Outdoor Space
We have created a safe and engaging outdoor space where children can explore, play, and learn.
In the Pre-Prep playground, children have access to a range of high-quality learning and play resources. Your child can build confidence on the climbing frame and slides or enjoy our construction area with various blocks and building materials. There are trays with sand and water for exploration, a play kitchen, and an art and craft area for painting and making creations.
We offer helmets and a selection of trikes, scooters, and balance bikes, which many children love using. We embrace outdoor learning whenever possible, and our outdoor classroom is a favourite among the children. In addition to the extensive Pre-Prep playground, we benefit from the Prep School’s facilities and resources next door. Every year, we hold our sports day there, which is always a lot of fun.
Children are encouraged to respect their environment and peers by tidying up resources once they have finished playing.
